The Prieur 140g Brass Epee Pommel provides substantial counterweight for fencers seeking a balanced and controlled weapon setup. Made from high-quality brass, it combines dependable durability with the weight needed to adjust the epee’s balance toward the hand.
Designed for epees equipped with a size 5 blade, this pommel is compatible with straight grips, including French-grip configurations. It threads securely onto the blade tang, holding the grip and other weapon components firmly in place when properly installed.
At 140 grams, the pommel can help create a more balanced feel by offsetting the weight of the blade. This makes it a practical choice for fencers assembling a new epee, adjusting their preferred weapon balance, or replacing a worn or damaged pommel.
Before fencing, confirm that the pommel is securely tightened and that the grip remains stable. Regularly inspect the threading and brass construction for wear or damage.
