Recreational Plastron for Kids

The Prieur Kids’ Recreational Plastron provides front-of-chest coverage for young fencers discovering the sport with plastic fencing equipment. Designed specifically for introductory and recreational activities, it helps protect the child’s torso from the light impacts associated with plastic weapons.

Its youth-focused design allows developing fencers to move comfortably while learning basic fencing movements and participating in lessons, camps, demonstrations, or at-home practice. Available in red or blue, the plastron can be paired with coordinating plastic equipment for an engaging beginner setup.

The Prieur Kids’ Recreational Plastron is designed exclusively for use with plastic fencing weapons. It must not be used with metal fencing weapons and is not a substitute for regulation protective fencing equipment.

Always pair this plastron with a compatible plastic fencing mask, also available on our site (ref. NASYM03). Inspect the plastron before each use and discontinue use if it becomes cracked, broken, or otherwise damaged.
